The lovely homes for sale in Buckhead offer many facets of how best to enjoy life in Atlanta, many versions of how to approach that, and to prosper while doing it. Just as the styles of homes range from mansions to luxury condominiums, the variety of options for dining with pleasure abound here, too. Especially the restaurants near Chastain Park.

Previously, we’ve highlighted some restaurants that celebrate traditional, regional, and American cuisine. This time, we thought we’d start with one that’s both exotic and familiar at the same time: the Brazilian steakhouse, Chama Gaucha. What’s familiar is the aroma of sizzling prime beef. What’s exotic is how it’s served. Sliced for you at your table by an expert “gaucho” from tall, vertical skewers. Beef is just the beginning. Twelve different meats are served at your beck and call, including pork, chicken, and even venison.

A more familiar form of steakhouse is Hals on Old Ivey. The success of Hal’s version of steak, seafood, shellfish, pasta – a New Orleans-inspired approach – is evident in the restaurant’s continuity. Open for 20 years, with the same team at the front of the house and in the kitchen for 17, the atmosphere breathes a sense of people doing what they most enjoy, guests and staff alike.

The Greater Good Barbecue was named to a list of the top 30 barbecue restaurants in America, and the Buckhead location is a favorite. Said to serve one of Atlanta’s best briskets, offering baby-back ribs and everything that goes with them, the Greater Good was founded on family recipes and sustained by attention to detail.

And, having started with Brazilian, let’s finish for now with all-American. Flip Burger Boutique takes a modern, colorful approach to some dishes that otherwise might risk too much familiarity. Virtually re-inventing the burger, with handmade, black angus blend beef and all the trimmings, Flip turns the idea of a burger joint on its head. Offering Caribbean fish, shrimp, and turkey as well, Flip hasn’t forgotten the milk shakes. Some things just belong.

There’s no end to the excellence and imagination we discover among Atlanta’s restaurants, and the ones near Chastain Park provide some strong examples of how dining can enhance the whole experience – and value – of living in a desirable neighborhood.

The refinement of Chastain Park new construction is the result of generations of planning, cooperation and insight into what made Buckhead so desirable in the first place. The opportunity to live, work, and play in a community that offers the best in all those facets of life makes Buckhead, and particularly the homes for sale in Chastain Park, a neighborhood for you to consider carefully.
